I was wondering what the most precious knowledgs of a city would be... somethin arcane, something mysterious, but... it was something quite ordinary:  how to conserve some fish. The text means:

Fine Fish
Take the same amount of fish and water and put it in layers in a barrel. After two days open the barrels and drain the water since it can become spoiled.  Put a stone on top of the fish and close the barrel tightly. After two to fivey years waiting you will recieve an delicious dish unless humidity, animals or children have disturbed the fish.
